D&D Designs hold first hands on workshop!

Today was a great day as we, under the new D&D Designs name, held our first hands on floral design workshop.

David Denyer & I hosted a very popular and well received workshop session at the Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott this morning with 23 attendees including 2 men.

The first piece was a compact hand tied bouquet with purple brassica (cabbage), black baccara roses, lime green hypericum, green anthurium, deep pink gerbera and purple santini. The students all produced some stunning work, some of them were first timers too.

The second piece was a contemporary style arrangement and again the challenge was met with great enthusiasm and skill. The design was made in a low dish and we used cornus, phormium leaves, philodendron xanadu leaves, aralia, galax, aspidistra, orange calla lilies, arabicum, orange gerbera and green chrysanthemum blooms.

These workshops will be rolled out over the coming months and we will be looking to feature them in smart hotels and venues across the country.

Further pictures and video can be found on our D&D Designs Facebook page.
